Hi! I'm Chris.

I'm a junior at Yale studying Computing and the Arts, a joint major between Computer Science and Visual Art.

I'm a game and UI/UX designer, but also:

  1. A gamer at heart

  2. A massive Studio Ghibli fan

  3. A lover of magical realism

  4. A chronic doodler

  5. A sticker and postcard collector

Through design…

I aim to spark joy, solve meaningful problems, and build experiences that leave people a little more curious than before.

Whether I’m collaborating with researchers on a VR intervention for pediatric health, prototyping interfaces for a city-builder game, or rebuilding a student organization’s website, I’ve seen how design can bridge gaps, inspire wonder, and bring people together. With experiences in art, programming, and design, I’ve led cross-functional teams of developers, artists, designers, writers, and musicians to bring ideas to life.

Outside of work, you can usually find me sketching game ideas, discovering new boba flavors, digging around Game UI Database, or curating playlists for every possible mood!

Let's build more delightful experiences together!

Some of my favorite design in various experiences…

1000x Resist

An indie, narrative-based game about a society of clones after the apocalypse, but also about the Asian diaspora, motherhood, and generational trauma. The player is pushed through the narrative in a controlled, yet experimental fashion unlike anything I've seen before in games.

In the Current of Being

I got to try this VR haptics experience telling the true story of Carolyn Mercer, a survivor of electroshock conversion therapy, at the Games for Change Festival 2025. Sadly, I did not get to experience it with the haptics suit, but the story, visuals, and music are beautiful, shocking, and stunning nonetheless.

Super Nintendo World

Studying abroad in Osaka, Japan, in 2024 left me with amazing memories, one of the best being walking through the Warp Pipe at Universal Studios.

Something about the design of the space, the rides, and the gamification of the whole park, leaves fans like me amazed.
